atm card!
made my atm card today! hahaz...guess some of you might think..."huh...only now then get atm card ah?"...yeapz...previously my mum din allow me to get atm card...but now since i need to get allowance from my bank account...so need atm! hehez
recruit allowance is only 350 a month...but they still wanna take 20% away for CPF! argh...left with 280 only...sigh...i know this amount will surely be enuff one...so shall be keeping a close tab on my spendings...=)
"adjustment" period
yup...that is what they call the first 14 days..."adjustment period"...just another nicer term to use than "confinement period"...hehez...all this to improve the image of SAF...hahaz...most people wun understand larz...think the NS people will know wad i am talking about...
the first 2 weeks are quite okay larz...amazingly...the sleep there was not a problem at all...=)...the food is nice larz...just that 95% of the meals contains chicken! argh...getting sian of the chicken dishes there too...the environment there is nice larz i must admit...think the sch 2 people are damn lucky...cos they got sea view...hehez...the sun set will be very beautiful there! the night sky is beautiful too! orion is very clear and big there! the morning and evening skies are so mesmerising too!
talk so long liaoz still haven talk about myself yet...hehez...i am in Hawk Coy Platoon 3 Section 2 Bed 5...hahaz...my bunk people are uite nice and crappy...very fun...same section as quan yao...=)...my platoon sergeants are 3SG Yi Cheng, 3SG Hong Wei and 3SG Yen...they are very nice people! get along with our platoon very well...as long as we do things right and NEVER be late...they are okay with us...they quite crappy too...sometimes can have crapping session in the middle of the afternoon when there is no training scheduled...=P...then our platoon commander is 2LT Chun Sheng...he is a very understanding and nice guy...but he is very strict on timings...so the lesson learnt was never to be late...then our officer in command of Hawk Coy is LT Melvin Yong...he is one muscular funny dude who is simply a wrestling fan...always saying that he will suplex/tombstone/ddt/clothesline/etc people whom he caught sleeping during his lecture...but till now...no moves shown yet...hehez...
think when you go into bmtc, you will realise that alot of things there is wayang one...esp those involving higher command...haix...an example is the Arms Presentation Ceremony that night...
the stupid thing is that there is a very nasty flu bug spreading in Tekong...affecting quite a lot of people...me included...then 3 days before book out already got sore throat liaoz...then the next day got cough...by the book out day...throat really hurting like mad...so no choice but to report to medical officer...got ATT B(light duties) for 1 day...=P...
lemme haolian a bit of my platoon and myself...we send in arms in 2 min 05 seconds...i load 30 rounds in 34 seconds...i strip the rifle in 24 seconds...i assemble the rifle in 28 seconds...
gonna book in on sat evening...so gotta fully make use of all the time i have before i book in to settle stuff and spend time with my frens, family and most importantly...huifen...=)
